Do I have to pay to book?
No. You have the option to pay cash at the workshop check in. You can pay prior to entering the workshop, to make the registering process quicker.
Why do I need my parent’s permission?
If you are under 18 years of age, legally you must have your parents / guardians permission to attend our workshops. It’s the law. This law was developed to protect people under the age of 18 from making uninformed decisions. If you book and you do not have permissions from your parents/guardian, you could potentially create a large problem for yourself and your family. Boost Education wants all students to follow the correct path for booking workshops.
What if you do not have a workshop for a subject I need help with?
Tell us and we will put together a team and run the workshop. We want to help you with your exam preparation and results, so tell us what you want!
I work on Saturdays, are there workshops at other times?
Yes understand that some students work on the weekends or have activities during the week! We run workshops during the evenings or on weekends! Different locations may also suit your schedule, so check out all the timetables.
We are also looking at coming to individual schools to hold some workshops in 2009 which will help students to access them more easily and at a cheaper price!
Can I come more than once?
Yes, come as many times or as little as you want! Some workshops, like the essay writing or speed reading, help students more if they attend this workshop each term! If once is all you need, then great! Book as you need!!!!
Who is running the workshops?
Boost Education has outstanding educational professionals running the workshops. Each teacher has been primarily selected because of their amazing experience and talent!
For more information about our teachers, please look at the About Us page and Our Team.

How long do they go for?
Each workshop runs for 90-120 minutes! We have structured each workshop so that students are kept in an environment which maximise their learning. By keeping workshops within these time limits, we are able to keep students concentration levels high along with our teaching styles and delivery. Students will feel confident and equipped to tackle their exams and assessments.
Do we get notes in the workshops?
Each workshop teacher has devised their own unique set of notes which are handed out to students at the registration desk. Students are to take more extensive notes during the workshops, and these will be a highly valuable resource for students in their study.
Workshop notes (booklets) fall under copyright laws and no one has permission to use these notes for commercial use. No one has permission to reprint or republish or share these notes.
Can I share my notes with my friends?
You have paid money to have access to this amazing and unique resource. These workshops are aimed to help students maximise their results in exams. If you would like to share your notes with friends, it is up to you, however you or your parents have paid for the notes, your friends have not. You have every right to refuse showing your friends!
Copy right laws prohibit you from copying the notes and handing them out! Legal action will be taken, as our expert teachers have chosen to share their knowledge and experiences with students who have attended the workshops.
We provide students with the opportunity to attend FREE workshops which we hold each term. We are a resource for all students, please contact Boost Education if you are wanting notes but unable to attend workshops. We want to help all students!
Can I attend if I am not in Year 11 or 12?
If you have parental permission to attend our workshops and you are not in year 11 and 12, you are more than welcome to attend the workshops. You might want to bring a friend to attend the workshop/s for some company. You will need to ensure you are able to travel safely to and from the workshop location. The essay writing workshop is quite popular for students in years 8 – 10. If there are enough students, we may look at holding workshops for younger years, in their own lecture theatre.
